Manjot
Program Director
Joined September 2018

Manjot holds a Level 3 Early Learning and Child Care Certification and completed her Early Learning and Child Care Diploma at Bow Valley College in April 2018. She is deeply committed to the field of early learning and demonstrates a strong dedication to children’s development, safety, and well‑being.
With a professional, patient, and intentional approach, she fosters nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environments that support each child’s growth. Manjot completed her practicum at Franklin Children’s Centre in 2017 and has been a full‑time educator with the Centre since September 2018.
Nidhi
Assistant Director
Joined January 2023

Nidhi is an experienced Child Care Educator who has been working in the field since 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, a Master’s Degree in Zoology, and a Level 3 Early Learning and Child Care Certification. She joined the Franklin Children’s Centre team in January 2023.
Nidhi is passionate about teaching and is committed to providing high‑quality, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support children’s holistic development. She brings enthusiasm, reflective practice, and professionalism to her role, ensuring compliance with licensing, health, safety, and supervision standards.
Batsha

Joined January 2013

Batsha holds a Bachelor of Education (BEd), a Master of Education (MEd), and a Level 3 Early Learning and Child Care Certification. She brings a strong pedagogical foundation and deep commitment to early childhood education, supporting children’s holistic development within safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environments.
A valued member of the Franklin Children’s Centre team since 2013, Batsha contributes her expertise, professionalism, and dedication to the Centre’s high‑quality early learning programs.
Shilpa
Teacher

Shilpa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Level 2 Early Learning and Child Care Certification from CDI College in Calgary. She joined Franklin Children’s Centre in October 2023.
Shilpa is committed to creating a secure, caring, and developmentally supportive environment that promotes children’s overall growth and learning. She values strong, positive relationships with both children and families and brings patience, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm to her work. Her love for animals reflects her nurturing nature and compassion, qualities that enrich her approach to early childhood education.
Prabh
Teacher

Prabh earned her Bachelor of Arts in India and later completed her Level 1 Early Learning and Child Care Certification in Calgary. She is passionate about supporting children’s growth and creating safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
Prabh first joined Franklin Children’s Centre as a practicum student in 2024 and began working as an educator in June 2025. She contributes positively to the Centre’s high‑quality early learning programs. Outside of work, she is outgoing and sociable, with a strong interest in photography, which she enjoys incorporating into creative activities that inspire and engage children.
Saadia
Teacher

Saadia completed her studies in Chemistry and Physics in Morocco before relocating to Canada in 2014. She later earned her Level 1 Early Learning and Child Care Certificate from CDI College.
Since joining Franklin Children’s Centre in January 2022, Saadia has supported children’s learning and development within a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. She enjoys incorporating creativity into her practice—especially through baking and craft activities—which encourages children’s engagement, fine motor development, and self‑expression.
Farida
Teacher

Farida holds a Level 1 Early Learning and Child Care Certification and has been working in the child care field since 2016. She has experience supporting children from infancy through school‑age programs.
Fluent in three languages, Farida communicates effectively with children and families and supports inclusive, culturally responsive practice. She is highly relationship‑oriented and enjoys engaging children through singing and storytelling. Her nurturing approach fosters trust, emotional security, and a safe, supportive environment where children feel valued, confident, and cared for
