Summer Themed Days (July & August)
Throughout July and August, Franklin Children’s Centre offers a vibrant Summer Fun Program filled with hands‑on experiences, creative theme days, and special guests. These activities keep children engaged, active, and excited to learn all summer long.
- Creative & Sensory Theme Days: loose‑parts decorating, spray‑bottle art, water play, tattoo day, free painting, face painting, lemonade making, cooking adventures, fruit salad day, fruit shake day, bird feeders, nature frames, flower planting, scavenger hunts, nature treasure hunts.
- Water & Outdoor Fun: water‑fun games, water‑play days, picnics in the park, community walks, multi‑day day‑camping experiences.
- Movement & Active Play: sports day, Zumba in the gym, yoga day, outdoor games and physical challenges.
- Dress‑Up & Imagination Days: Disney‑themed adventures, fancy dress day, PJ party with movie, mis‑match day, superhero‑style imaginative play.

Annual Field Trip
Older children participate in an annual visit to the local fire station — a favourite tradition that teaches safety awareness and builds positive community relationships.
